L’AMOURETTE
Chocolate Packaging

L’AMOURETTE  is a premium San Francisco chocolatier built around romance, ethical sourcing, and craftsmanship. As an independent design exploration, I imagined how those qualities could be expressed through a more cohesive visual identity and packaging system. The goal was to create a packaging system that highlights the brand’s premium quality through typography, materiality, and thoughtful print finishes while reinforcing its sense of romance and craftsmanship.

The redesigned package further elevates the brand by focusing on the connection between people, love, and the sensory pleasure of chocolate. Conceptualized as an intimate and visually arresting gift, the packaging aims to resonate on a deeper emotional level with consumers.

The attention to detail, exemplified by the application of gold foil on the wordmark, a gold wax seal, and the intimate drawings that I drew using charcoal, distinguishes the company from its’ competitors and positions L’AMOURETTE’s  chocolate bars as thoughtful and elegant gifts, enhancing the perceived value and justifying the premium price point.

L’AMOURETTE is a premium San Francisco chocolatier built around romance, ethical sourcing, and craftsmanship. This independent branding exploration imagines how the brand could be further elevated through a cohesive visual identity grounded in typography, materiality, and print craftsmanship.

The concept establishes a refined packaging system built on typographic clarity, material contrast, and a restrained color palette. A unified black foundation reinforces a sense of luxury, while circular framing devices distinguish each flavor without fragmenting the brand. Hand-drawn graphite illustrations introduce a subtle sensuality, reinforcing the narrative of intimacy and desire while adding a tactile, human dimension to the system.

The result is a packaging concept that celebrates L’AMOURETTE’s commitment to craftsmanship while communicating exclusivity, romance, and quality with clarity and restraint.
